The Montiel brothers — Carlos, Eddy and Mario — are natives of Guatemala who’ve lived, studied and worked around the world They’re coming up on the 20th anniversary of their ownership of Capriccio’s, a highly-rated Italian restaurant in Northfield. In this video, Mario and Eddy show us around the restaurant, and Eddy talks about some of his signature dishes. In another video Mario and Eddy explain the wall plaques: they mark the favorite tables of some local celebrities. In the final video of this series, Carlos and Mario talk about their restaurants, their coffee farm, how they came to Chicago, and the business climate in Northfield.
